Financial aid is based upon need and more than 42% of Prairie students receive some kind of financial support. However, eligibility for financial aid is determined only after a student has been admitted to The Prairie School. Financial assistance is funded through the generosity of parents, alumni, directors, foundations, corporations, and friends of the School, along with fund-raising activities.
The School also offers extensive merit scholarship programs that recognize academic achievement and leadership. Competitions are held annually.
