Alumni

The Prairie School has a national community of alumni, who are actively shaping the world—nationally or locally, publicly or quietly. In 1970, our first graduating class of 19 students, began their endeavors as young adults. Since then we’ve graduated close to 1,800 students. From authors to musicians, to doctors and lawyers, we’re amazed with the journeys and experiences our students have after graduating. Our alumni constitute a valued and important part of our school community. We celebrate this richness and encourage alumni to remain in touch.

Where Are They Now?

Dan BeckerOMG Mrs. Morrison, I liked her. It was a great small library. I remember all school meetings being held in that room. A truly remarkable educational space for some very privileged children.2 weeks ago   ·  1
Joe VeranthThe best librarian IN THE WORLD!2 weeks ago   ·  2
Daniel GeenenI remember a story when a group of us were being a bit to loud and Mrs. Morrison stated " will that table please leave" so we proceeded to lift up the table and remove it from the library. We did get in trouble as well. She ran a tight ship but was always loved.2 weeks ago   ·  7
Scott CurrieI remember a few of us were at a table messing around with one of those little metal popper disks and Mrs. Morrison gave us a blast of "the voice." One of the group made some pretense of returning a book or borrowing a pencil, while discretely placing the popping disk right in front of her on her desk. A minute later it went "PING!" and we all had to leave the library again.2 weeks ago
Daniel GeenenI also remember a Senior prank when they placed alarm clocks all around the library behind the books that went off all through the day2 weeks ago   ·  2
