Primary School

  • New Parent PS Information sessions will be held on July 27th and August 16th for new-to-Prairie parents. Please RSVP to learn more about Prairie life.
  • Buddy Program: To assist our new families in connecting with the Prairie community, every new-to-Prairie student is matched up with a current Prairie Buddy Family.  The goal is to have you (and your child!) meet and get to know seasoned Prairie families during the summer months to help ease the anxiety that may come with starting a new school, and, also, to provide you with a parent resource throughout the school year.
  • New parents with children ages 3-6 are invited to a Playground Party on Saturday, August 12th.  Watch for an invitation!

Middle School

  • New Parent MS Information sessions will be held on July 27th and August 16th for new-to-Prairie parents. Please RSVP to learn more about Prairie life.
  • All new MS students will participate in mandatory summer orientation sessions that will aid in their transition to the Middle School on Monday, August 21st.  Your child will receive an invitation as the date approaches, but please reserve the entire day for this purpose.
  • Buddy Program: To assist our new families in connecting with the Prairie community, every new-to-Prairie student is matched up with a current Prairie Buddy Family. The goal is to have you (and your child!) meet and get to know seasoned Prairie families during the summer months to help ease the anxiety that may come with starting a new school, and, also, to provide you with a parent resource throughout the school year.
  • If your child has not completed the course selection process, please contact your Division Office for assistance immediately.

Upper School

  • New Parent US Information sessions will be held on July 27th and August 16th for new-to-Prairie parents. Please RSVP to learn more about Prairie life.
  • All new-to-Prairie 9th grade students will participate in an on-boarding Summer Bridge experience that will aid in their transition to the Upper School. This class is scheduled for Monday, August 14th from 8AM-4:30PM and Tuesday, August 15th from 12-5PM.
