Admissions

We are pleased that you are interested in learning more about The Prairie School. Prairie is an academic community whose doors are open to all applicants without regard to race, religion, age, sex, or national origin, and complies with the regulations regarding students and persons with disabilities as required by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

We invite you to attend an event at Prairie - and encourage you to set up a time to come tour our School. Or let us send you some additional information about the School - and the grade(s) you're interested in learning more about - by completing our online Information Request form.   We'd love to have one of our Parent Advocates talk with you - and our admissions office staff is always ready to answer your questions. Please call our Admissions Office at 262-260-4393 or email admissions@prairieschool.com .

As your family is considering The Prairie School, we encourage you to watch National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) president Pat Bassett's 6-minute video on the importance of having your child attend an independent school.

Prairie subscribes to an online college planning program called Naviance.  It offers college counselors and families many tools for the search and application process, including the all-important college list that we develop with you, information about college visits to our campus, scholarship postings, and much more.

We introduce all students to Naviance as freshmen, but students’ and parents’ use of it really gains traction in the junior year.  If you want more information about this program, please contact Christine Uebe.
