When I was a student, I knew Prairie was unique and catered to the individual student, but I did not appreciate how unique Prairie was even across independent schools nationwide. Most of the schools that maintain excellence in all aspects of their mission are located in or near major metropolitan areas and have a broad set of resources to draw upon. Prairie achieves the same level of excellence in a much smaller community.

Whether it’s as a donor or board member, what keeps you coming back?
Prairie is worth the effort because it is so unique and special, and is dependent on all of our continued efforts to maintain its stature. It is one of the jewels of Racine. It is worth my effort because it is a place where I hope I can personally make a difference and contribute to its success.
