What Being a Hawk Means to Benji:
“Being a Hawk means the world to me. It means having integrity.”
And Benji lives that meaning every day. Whether he’s greeting teachers in the hallway, assisting with game-day setup, or jumping in to help wherever needed, Benji leads with kindness and purpose. He is happiest when he’s doing for others, and his generosity lifts the people around him.
“Benji is an incredible student-athlete and a positive leader for our community,” said Joe Manley, soccer coach and Benji’s nominator. “He’s wise beyond his years, always quick with a kind smile and a polite greeting. Whether he’s volunteering to support our varsity teams or setting an example for his peers, Benji is the kind of person who makes Prairie feel like home.”
“Benji is a warm and sincere friend to all and loves lending a hand to fellow classmates and his teachers,” added Kathy Boero, Head of Middle School. “He inspires everyone to be happy and a part of the Prairie School community.”
With a trombone in his hand or a soccer ball at his feet, Benji shows that leadership comes in many forms – and those who serve first make the most significant impact.
We’re proud to celebrate Benji as a Hawk You Should Know!
