In 1997 a pair of Prairie School trustees, John Gittings and Joe Marino, created the Golf Classic to support The Prairie School Scholarship Fund.
Over the years, the Classic has grown into one of the most successful outings in the country consistently ranked in the top five percent of outings nationwide. The Classic has raised $1.5 million for deserving students who cannot afford Prairie's full tuition.
Held at the Racine Country Club, every player will enjoy a day of golf, games, and prizes! Not a golfer? Purchase a dinner ticket and meet up with us at the end of the day for cocktail hour, games, fantastic food, and terrific company – all in support of our students!

WHAT TO EXPECT
What do I wear?
The recommended dress code for cocktail hour and dinner is polished-casual. Think neat and sophisticated while still comfortable. Please, no jeans. Locker rooms and showers are available to all golfers. Please keep in mind that all events will be outside.
What is included in my ticket purchase?
First and foremost, your ticket purchase provides support for our student scholarship fund, making Prairie possible for deserving students. Also included: an open bar, hors d'oeuvres, a delicious meal, and all of the entertainment that unfolds throughout the evening!
Do I need to bring my cash?
All purchases can be conveniently made via OneCause, the platform used to purchase tickets. Simply vault your credit card before the event for ease of purchasing.
