Thank You for Joining Us!
On Friday, October 10, we had the pleasure of welcoming grandparents and guests for a morning filled with meaningful connection to mission and to each other. From visiting classrooms and participating in activities to gathering in the John Mitchell Theatre and enjoying performances from our students, we hope everyone in attendance felt the joy that comes from being part of the Prairie community.
Save the date for next year’s event:
Friday, October 9, 2026.
We hope to see you there!

Grandparents’ Day activities will take place from 8:30AM – 12:00PM. You will have the opportunity to spend time in your grandchild(ren)’s classrooms and see specials such as art, and music.
Refreshments will be available throughout the school for you to enjoy while visiting with your grandchild.
You will also have a chance to visit the John Mitchell Theatre for a conversation with Dr. Nat Coffman.
There will be three sessions in the theater:
-
(8:30 – 9:00AM) For grandparents whose oldest grandchild is in Early School
-
(10:00 – 10:30AM) For grandparents whose oldest grandchild is in Primary School
-
(11:00 – 11:30AM) For grandparents whose oldest grandchild is in Middle or Upper School
We ask that you attend the session that correlates with your oldest grandchild’s grade level. When you are not in the theater, you will be joining your grandchild(ren) in class. Student schedules are provided by their classroom teacher/advisor. If you have any questions about your grandchild’s individual schedule, please discuss them with your grandchild or their parents ahead of time.
