Recaps for the Week of 8/17

Girls’ Golf
The Hawks teed off on the fall season with their first SEC Mini-Meet of the year at Ives Grove on August 13th taking second place with a team score of 206. Franklin High School won the event with a score of 180.

Willa Modder ’27 shot the low score for TPS and finished 6th overall with a 48. Eleanor Pitts ’28 carded a 49 while Maddie Wruck ’29 (53) and Ella Stoner ’27 (56) rounded out the scoring for the Hawks.

“I’m very pleased with how the girls came out and played today,” said Coach Carrie Massey. “Their ball striking has improved greatly from last year. We just need to work on scoring.”

Girls’ Tennis
TPS played in the Demon Quad on August 17th at Burlington High School and defeated Burlington 6-1, Lake Geneva 4-3, and Tremper 5-2.
