  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. On the left, next to “Other calendars,” click Add Add other calendars and then From URL.
  3. Enter the Prairie calendar’s address.
  4. Click Add Calendar. The calendar appears on the left, under “Other calendars.”
  • Tip: It might take up to 12 hours for changes to show in your Google Calendar.

  1. In Outlook, select File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
  2. On the Internet Calendars tab, click New.
  3. Paste the Prairie calendars address by pressing Ctrl+V, then click Add.
  4. In the Folder Name box, type the name of the calendar as you want it to appear in Outlook, and then click OK.

PowerSchool is the online system Prairie uses to track family contact information, student health records, and academic history.

Please click the button below to login. Review and update the data in each section listed — first and foremost, “Student/Parent Information” and “Health/Medical Information” — for each child. Don’t forget to change the date and click “Submit” at the bottom of each page, even if your data remains unchanged! If you have multiple children, you will need to complete this process for each child.

Returning students must submit a physical signed by their doctor every 2 years.

FACTS is the system that all Prairie families use to pay tuition, fees, and incidental expenses like hot lunch. Current families will already have a FACTS account established. If you have moved or have a new phone number or contact email, please take a moment and update those details in FACTS as well as in PowerSchool.

FACTS has updated its Privacy Policy and COPPA Direct Notice, which describe how it protects the privacy of its customers and handles their data in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Thursday, August 13th from Noon-3:00PM.
  • For all new-to-Prairie 6th-8th Grade students and all rising 6th Grade students.
  • Students should enter the Student Research Center (SRC). Orientation will be followed by a Middle School Social and Teacher Meet & Greet on Prairie’s playground from 3:00-4:00PM.
  • Parents are welcome to return at 3:00PM for the Social.

MS BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT

  • Tuesday, September 1st at 6:00PM.
  • For all 6th-8th Grade parents.
  • There will be a Camp Timber-lee Information Meeting for 6th Grade parents from 7:40-8:00PM in the John Mitchell Theatre.
  • There will be a Washington, D.C Trip Information Meeting for 8th Grade parents from 7:40-8:00PM in the Leipold Recital Hall.
  • Location: The Middle School Back to School Night will begin in the John Mitchell Theatre. Please enter through the main entrance at Door #2 where Kathy Boero will greet and direct you accordingly.

MANITO-WISH

Our annual four-day trip to Camp Manito-wish in northern Wisconsin for students in Grades 9-11 is comprised of leadership training, outdoor education, community-building, and formative bonding experiences.

Our new trip to Camp Lookout for students in Grade 12 is comprised of leadership training, outdoor education, community-building, and formative bonding experiences.

SUMMER AP COURSES

US students who are registered to take any AP courses for the 2026-2027 school year may access their summer work by clicking below.

Deadlines and AP summer work expectations are set by the individual course instructors.
