Join Us for Prairie's Open House

Pre-K to 12th Grade

This fall, in an effort to help you get to know Prairie – the people, the places, the programs – we are thrilled to offer our prospective families the option to tour campus with us. Individual, hour-long tours will be conducted by appointment only, every 15 minutes between 9:00AM-11:00AM. Dates and details are listed below.

*Visiting families are limited to one parent and up to two children. Guests will be required to wear masks, complete a Prairie Health Ticket upon arrival, and have their temperatures checked.

Upper School

Saturday, October 3rd

  • One-on-one College Counseling program
  • Advanced Placement and Malone Online Network course offerings
  • Upperclassmen career investigation/internship program 
  • Leadership opportunities 
  • Wide variety of co-curricular activities — including clubs, no-cut athletics, performing arts groups, and volunteer organizations.

Middle School

Saturday, October 17th

  • Grade-level Advisory program
  • S.T.E.M. Reading instruction, to guide inquiry and teach effective strategies to interpret non-fiction text
  • Wide variety of co-curricular clubs and activities, both intramural and interscholastic
  • Focus on integrity and personal responsibility
  • Social-emotional learning support from our Compass team

Primary School

Saturday, November 7th

  • Daily movement during recess and Physical Education class
  • Multi-age instruction in subjects like Science, to teach the importance of collaboration
  • Early age co-curricular activities
  • PS Buddies, to promote teamwork and relationship-building
  • Community reading projects & activities through “Books, Alive!”
